About Us
We've been a staple of the Sheffield amateur dramatic scene for over 40 years. Our history stems from the relocation of hundreds of Midland Bank Head Office staff from London to Sheffield in the 1970s. The Midland Bank Dramatic Society was one of the social groups formed to help settle the staff and their families into the area. Now re-named, we are an open society, welcoming new members both on and off the stage. In normal times, we perform 2 shows a year at the University of Sheffield Drama Studio, with occasional other projects.
