One Man, Two Guvnors

Richard Bean

Based on Goldoni's Servant of Two Masters, One Man, Two Guvnors swaps the grandeur of the Italy with ... uh... Brighton, 1963. Our hero, Francis Henshall becomes employed by two men. One is Roscoe Crabbe, gangster. The other is Stanley Stubbers, twit. If this wasn't enough for Henshall, a very heavy trunk and an elderly waiter also add to his issues. Will our hero be lucky enough to get the girl? Or, with so many puppeteers, will he end up in knots?
