Robert Louis Stevenson's

Treasure Island

Adapted by Megan Roberts

An imaginative new adaptation of this swashbuckling tale!

In the year of grace 1748, Jim Hawkins comes into possession of a map seemingly showing the location of the long lost treasure left behind by the dreaded pirate Captain Flint. With assistance from guardian Dr Livesey, Jim charts a voyage to the mysterious Treasure Island - a voyage joined by ship's cook Long John Silver. But is Silver quite the affable fellow he seems to be? What of the rest of the crew? The storm is brewing and Jim will soon be forced a question everything they know about adventure, loyalty, and perhaps even the very nature of piracy itself.

Treasure Island was presented in the University of Sheffield Drama Studio Theatre, Shearwood Rd, Broomhall, Sheffield S10 2TD from Wednesday 25th to Saturday 28th September 2024.
